We’ll also send you our durable, attractive History Book Club attaché, yours to keep free even if you choose not to join the club. Once you’re a member, you’ll enjoy regular prices up to 40% off publishers’ edition prices, as well as member-only sales with the lowest prices you’ll find anywhere. The special introductory offer is only the beginning. As a member, you’ll receive a new issue of our History Book Club Review once every three weeks. Each issue offers about 150 of the best books from all areas of history, including many History Book Club exclusive publications not available in stores. You will also have full access to the member-only History Book Club website, which features a wide array of history titles, plus special access to the collections of other premier book clubs like Book-of-the-Month Club and Quality Paperback Book Club. All we ask is that you purchase books from us. The Membership Agreement outlines the number of books you need to purchase as well as other important details about this great offer.
Our distinguished board of historians - including such eminent scholars as William C. Davis and Elliot West - painstakingly review thousands of books a year from top authors and publishers. They recommend only those titles which deliver the best in accuracy, insight, and historical writing. Quality is never a question with History Book Club; you can rest assured that every book we offer truly is the best that history has to offer
You’ll receive the History Book Club Review once every three weeks (17 times a year), each with a selection of about 150 books to choose from. You may order using the reply card that comes with the catalog or on our History Book Club members’ website. In each issue, we also recommend an Editors’ Choice, a book which we believe is of such importance and reading pleasure that it is a must-have for everyone with an interest in history. If you wish to receive an Editors’ Choice, do nothing and we will send it to you. If you prefer not to receive an Editors’ Choice, simply return the reply card with your instructions by the date specified. If you would like to return an Editors’ Choice because you had less than 10 days to review our catalog, you may return it and pay nothing.
If you are dissatisfied with any of your selections for any reason, you may return them within 10 days and owe nothing at all.
Bonus Credits are another way you’ll save on great history titles as a History Book Club member. You’ll earn a Bonus Credit with every History Book Club selection you order at club price after your introductory offer, unless otherwise noted. Your credit card will be charged when your selections are shipped. Your credit card will only be charged for this order. We will NEVER charge your credit card for any purchase throughout your membership without your prior authorization. If you receive featured selections automatically, your credit card will not be charged unless you explicitly authorize us to use your card as payment.
