What does Diesel get up to when he’s not hanging out with Stephanie Plum? Bestselling author Janet Evanovich gives us a hint with Wicked Appetite, book one of a magical new series!
Welcome to Marblehead, Massachusetts, where Elizabeth “Lizzy” Tucker, master cupcake baker and descendant of witches, lives in the 18th-century saltbox she inherited from her mysterious Great Aunt Ophelia. Life is pleasantly predictable for Lizzy…up early to bake the cupcakes, home early to test new recipes. Until two men show up in quick succession—tall, black-haired, ghostly pale Wulf and tall, blond, beach-tanned Diesel—each wanting what Lizzy has: knowledge. Seems that Lizzy unknowingly possesses the ability to find “empowered objects.” And a collection of stones representing the seven deadly sins needs finding. These stones, if brought together, have the power to unleash hell on earth. Wulf wants them, Diesel wants to stop him and Lizzy is the key to it all.
With two sexy, scary men, a possibly psychic one-eyed cat and a bad-mannered monkey named Carl to contend with—not to mention spells gone awry, cupcakes to bake and sudden wickedly powerful desires to fight—Lizzy’s life threatens to spin out of control!

I enjoyed this book and the 2nd one in the series. It's different from the Plum books but still with characters that are memorable.

I like Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum books so I thought I would give this book a try. It is so slow and boring. I read it through to the end hoping it would get better but no such luck. The worst thing is I have already ordered the second book in the series. Guess that teaches me to read before thinking everything an author writes will be as good as other series. Please Janet, stick with the Plum books...

I love her Stephanie Plum books, but this book is so silly. I'm still reading it, but I am very disappointed. I have a sense of humor, but it isn't working with this book. I will still read her Plum novels though.
